Site safety steward • Carter County, Montana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Carter County, Montana. You will be based at a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
