Lift maintenance fitter wanted in Ozaukee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. You will work in a residential tower block. You should have: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Day to day you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
