Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Tama County, Iowa. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. You will fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Valid driving licence for site call-outs 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
