Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels The role involves follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin.
