Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat cutter in Isanti County, Minnesota. You will be based in a meat processing plant. You will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
