Slinger signaller • Monroe County, Tennessee

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Monroe County, Tennessee. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Your main tasks: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use Overtime paid at a premium rate.
