We are recruiting: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Lamoille County, Vermont. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day to day you will give each garment a final press before packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
