Concrete placer wanted in Quitman County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete placer in Quitman County, Georgia. You will work in a residential housing project. Your main tasks: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Full-time, day shift.
