Immediate opening: argon welder (Wisconsin)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Walworth County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
