Join our team: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Alpine County, California. The job is at an auto components factory. Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred The role involves punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours.
