Rebar fixer wanted in Ogle County

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Ogle County, Illinois. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
