We are recruiting: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Alcona County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
