Now hiring: we are hiring a window glazier in Union County, Tennessee. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Your main tasks: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash Requirements: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
