Urgent requirement: we are hiring a container truck driver in Dubuque County, Iowa. The job is in a refrigerated transport fleet. On the job you will handle: • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays Requirements: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
