Great opportunity: we are hiring an advanced scaffolder in Sussex County, New Jersey. The job is on a busy construction site. The role involves: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level You should have: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
