Quality assurance assistant — City of Lexington

Join our team: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in City of Lexington, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Willing to work rotating and night shifts 3+ years on the tools preferred. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
