Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Posey County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
