Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in Kent County, Michigan. The role involves: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
