Concrete pump mate — Lafourche Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a residential housing project. On a typical shift you will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $19 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
