Now hiring: we are hiring a safety inspector in Johnson County, Kansas. The job is on a high-rise building project. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate The role involves deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). 3+ years on the tools preferred.
