Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Yagba East, Kogi State. You will work in a residential housing project. Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Your main tasks: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade 5+ years on the tools preferred.
