Immediate opening: uPVC door and window fabricator (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Frederick County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Rotating shifts.
