Lift erector — North Tyneside

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift erector in North Tyneside, England. You will be based in a residential tower block. Day to day you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; run load and overload tests with test weights; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Six days a week, one day off.
