Scaffolding labourer • Breathitt County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Breathitt County, Kentucky. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. On the job you will handle: • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Six days a week, one day off.
