Port container crane operator wanted in Lyon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Lyon County, Minnesota. The job is on a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) 4+ years on the tools preferred.
