Ladle pourer — Shelby County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Shelby County, Missouri. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
