Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Placer County, California. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Day to day you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
