Sheet metal welder • Leflore County, Mississippi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Leflore County, Mississippi. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Your main tasks: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
