Join our team: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Dodge County, Georgia. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
