Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. You will be based at a busy lift company. The role involves replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; run load and overload tests with test weights; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
