Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Roosevelt County, Montana. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day to day you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $21 per hour, based on your experience.
