Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Montgomery County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Day to day you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; run load and overload tests with test weights; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
