Join our team: we are hiring a groundworker in Borough of Bolton, England. You will work on a road and bridge project. Ideal candidate: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain The role involves: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. £1,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
