Vacancy available: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Chilton County, Alabama. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Six days a week, one day off.
