Natural gas fitter — Somerset County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a busy gas installation company. You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Day-to-day duties: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections 5+ years on the tools preferred.
