Great opportunity: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Haywood County, North Carolina. The job is in a metal finishing workshop. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting Your main tasks: • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun 6+ years on the tools preferred.
