Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Pierce County, Wisconsin. The role involves maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
