Argon welder — Stonewall County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Stonewall County, Texas. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Part-time with flexible hours.
