Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Stutsman County, North Dakota. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. The role involves: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing 2+ years on the tools preferred.
