Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe operator in Mineral County, West Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Day-to-day duties: • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
