Frame straightening technician — Jasper County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a frame straightening technician in Jasper County, Iowa. You should have: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes The role involves: • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
