Fabricator-welder wanted in Clay County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Clay County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day to day you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
