Great opportunity: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Iberia Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a stone quarry. Day to day you will operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures 4+ years on the tools preferred.
