Garden maintenance worker • Daviess County, Missouri

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Daviess County, Missouri. The job is in a botanical garden. The role involves check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers. What we are looking for: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
