Join our team: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Buchanan County, Iowa. You will work on a bridge maintenance job. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Your main tasks: • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out Full-time with occasional weekends.
