Now hiring: brick and block layer (Michigan)

Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Gogebic County, Michigan. You will be based on a new-build development. On a typical shift you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $230 per day plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
