Refrigeration installation technician • Tyler County, West Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Tyler County, West Virginia. The job is in an HVAC service company. You should have: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds On the job you will handle: • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution Six days a week, one day off.
