On a typical shift you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. ₦250,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
