Now hiring: gang bricklayer (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Pike County, Indiana. You will work at a renovation and extension job. On the job you will handle: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
