Stainless steel welder — Aberdeenshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces You will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
